Meet the Band

Reload have been performing in the Sussex and surrounding area since 2005. As the band’s reputation grew, it has moved up to a new level, recognised around the South East region as one of the premier wedding/function outfits. With two experienced singers; the powerful Melissa White and soulful Tracey O'Reilly, the band will provide the high quality you have become accustomed to. Jon Dawes on drums provides a backbeat with decades of experience and singer / guitarist, Neil Oglieve gives the band an alternative edge to compliment the power ballad vocals.

Pre-mixed interval music, use of the PA for speeches and a special dedicated request song for the band to play at a special part of your event, will all be included.

Reload are always aware that you have a budget to work within and charge very realistic rates to give you an evening of great music at a price that won't break the bank!

Melissa White (lead vocals) knew from a very young age, that she wanted to perform, usually with a hairbrush in front of the TV dancing and singing to Top of the Pops!  She joined her local school band "The Millstones" who played around Sussex and did two tours in Germany.  Melissa also performed with a choir at Brighton Dome and at the Royal Albert Hall. Her natural ability to harmonise effortlessly along with a passion for singing will always be in her blood. Influences include Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush and Abba (with a bit of 70-80's disco thrown in!)

Tracey O’Reilly (lead vocals) has always felt passionate about music and from as early as she can remember was determined to do nothing else! Inspired by Stevie Wonder, Tracey taught herself to sing at the age of nine and by the age of fifteen was singing publicly. Further influenced by Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight and Randy Crawford, Tracey performed in various bands from The Ronnie Keene show band to a Gospel Choir. Singing has always and continues to be Tracey's passion, heart and soul!

Neil Oglieve (vocals & guitar) was a founder member of Reload and has seen the band evolve into the well-polished covers band they are today. Neil’s heart is in the 80's really, but he loves all the genres Reload cover. “I never thought I would be in a band who cover the sort of songs we do”, he has commented, “from Disco to rock and everything in between!” Neil also runs, Studio 102, a small recording studio, where Reload put together their ideas for forthcoming events and he builds the synth backing tracks, that Reload require for the big authentic stage sound they create.

Jon Dawes (drums & background vocals) has been a drummer and percussionist since his school days, playing in numerous bands and orchestras and he enjoys a wide variety of musical styles. Being in Reload has allowed him to play some of the very best music ever written. Jon is also the technical mastermind behind much of the modern technologies that Reload use,  including the midi controlled DMX lighting shows sychronised to the songs to produce a very unique visual experience added to the great audio show delivered by Reload.
